The Lakes District Air Rescue Trust (LDART) was established in 1991 to provide emergency medical transport in the Southern Lakes region of New Zealand.
Today, it supports dedicated helicopter air ambulance services and Search and Rescue capability across the lower South Island. This support is provided by way of funding for emergency medical equipment, equipment maintenance, and training for specialist crews on medical and rescue helicopter missions in our region.

For many years, Queenstown Airport has been a proud supporter of the Branches Trust Work Day to help students raise funds for their annual Year 10 school camp.
The Branches Charitable Trust was formed in July 2009 to underwrite the camp, because of escalating costs. By ensuring the continuity of the Branches Camp, the trust fulfils its primary objective in promoting, fostering and supporting the development of young people in the Whakatipu community.

The purpose of the Āwhina Support Fund is to ensure equity of access to Wakatipu High School’s great all-round education and that there are no financial barriers for students and families to be able to participate in the vast range of curricular and extracurricular opportunities offered at the school.
The fund is designed to assist families financially with all aspects of school life, including uniform, fees, laptops, camps and extracurricular activities.
