EV Charging FAQs
Any plug-in electric vehicle that has a Type 2 charging port or adapter.
We have six Tesla Destination chargers. These chargers are open to any type of electric vehicle that has a Type 2 charging port or adapter.
All six chargers are located at the front corner of Car Park A. View our Terminal Parking Map here.
All chargers are 22kW. However, when all chargers are in use you may note a slight reduction in charging speed due to load sharing. Additionally, not all electric vehicles have the capability to draw the full 22kW. You should check with your vehicle manufacturer for advice on this.
For now, our chargers are free to use. However, standard parking rates apply. See our here for pricing.
Please report any faults to us at the Information Desk located within the Queenstown Airport terminal. You could also email us your feedback

We regularly monitor the car parks and may take action if vehicles overstay through parking infringement notices.
