Project Manager - Infrastructure Delivery
The Position:
We are looking for a client side project manager who has multi-stakeholder management experience.
This role leads and delivers core infrastructure projects at Queenstown Airport. It encompasses establishing the scope of work, documenting sound business cases and developing and executing the project execution plan. As well as the facilitation and management of relationships across a number of stakeholders for each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively lead the delivery of multiple projects across functions and processes from concept to conclusion.
- Responsible for building and implementing internal and external stakeholder communications and engagement plans to ensure a collaborative approach to delivering positive project outcomes.
- Clearly define and document project details, plans, and progress for communication to sponsors and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams.
- Deliver projects with optimal efficiency and taking responsibility for project teams delivering on schedule and to agreed outcomes.
- Actively manage project budgets and reporting.
- Management of external contractors.
Your Skills and Experience
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure in a complex environment working with multiple stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of project management processes and systems. Being able to manage projects from conception through to completion.
- Actively and independently managing own workload and proactively identifying priority areas.
- High level of initiative and accountability in making things happen.
- Demonstrable experience with financial systems, processes and reporting in a project management environment.
- An uncompromising approach to health and safety.
- Experience or sound knowledge of operational environments and construction projects, including delivery under NZS:3910, would be advantageous.
